Walgreens has a policy!

Walgreens has posted a corporate policy! Print it out HERE.

As a customer-focused retailer, Walgreens encourages the use of coupons by our customers in our retail stores, in accordance with the following guidelines.

Guidelines:

General 

• All valid coupons should be presented to the cashier at the time of checkout.
• Walgreens does not accept expired coupons.
• Coupons and their face value cannot be exchanged for cash or gift cards.
• Competitor coupons are not accepted at Walgreens.
• Walgreens cannot accept coupons for items not carried in our stores.
• The number of manufacturer coupons, including Register Rewards^TM manufacturer coupons, may not exceed the number of items in the transaction. The total value of the coupons may not exceed the value of the transaction. Sales tax must be paid, if required by state law.
• Any coupon offer not covered in these guidelines will be accepted at the discretion of Walgreens management.

Sale Items 

• Walgreens will accept manufacturer coupons for an item that is on sale.
• In the event that any item's selling price is less than the value of the coupon, Walgreens will only accept the coupon in exchange for the selling price of the item. Coupon redemption can never exceed the selling price of an item and no cash back is ever provided in exchange for any coupons.

Multiple Coupons 

• When purchasing a single item, Walgreens accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.
• The coupon amount must be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied. (For example, a $5.00 coupon for a $4.99 item will result in a $4.99 coupon value).
• When purchasing multiple items, Walgreens accepts multiple identical coupons for multiple qualifying items as long as there is sufficient stock to satisfy other customers, unless a limit is specified. Management reserves the right to limit the quantity of items purchased.

Buy One, Get One Free Coupons 

• When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased.
• Sales tax must be paid for any Buy One, Get One Free coupon offers, if required by applicable state laws.

Internet/Print at Home Coupons 

• Walgreens accepts valid internet/print at home coupons.

Register Rewards^TM coupons 

Earning Register Rewards^TM

• Register Rewards^TM will only print for in-stock merchandise during the promotional period.
• Register Rewards^TM can only be earned for eligible items. No substitutions.
• There is a limit of one Register Rewards^TM (RR) printed per offer per customer per transaction.
• Customers redeeming a Register Rewards^TM against the same offer may not receive another RR.

Redeeming Register Rewards^TM

• Customers redeeming a Register Rewards^TM against the same offer may not receive another RR.
• Refer to Register Rewards^TM coupon for expiration date.
• The RR coupon value cannot exceed the total purchase amount. No cash back and no cash value for RR coupon.

Walgreens 11/15-21

Match ups are based on coupons that "should" be in the paper this weekend. Remember, not all areas get the same inserts so the coupons may be different values or may not be there at all. This is based off the master list of what “should” be there.

I will also include in-store coupon booklets! These are generally store coupons that you can use with a manufacturer coupon for extra savings.

This list assumes you have no stored coupons and no register rewards.

All Register Reward Deals are Limit 1, but that just means you can only do one per transaction! On RR, you cannot use the coupon to buy the same product. For example, you cannot use the RR from Purell Sanitizer to buy another Purell Sanitizer. You will not get the rewards a second time. Use rewards from other products though and you can do it. Here is a quick scenario for cheap diapers at Walgreens!

Huggies Jumbo packs, OS $8.99
Use $1 off coupon from CVS Back to School Activity Book (there are still a few lurking around the store) - will take off $1 for each pack you purchase
Use $2 off Huggies coupon from here. You can print this coupon two times. (There have also been Huggies coupons in the papers, you should have a stockpile, right??)

This makes each Jumbo pack $5.99. Don't forget, there is a $5/$25 coupon in this week's insert. The total has to be $25 AFTER all coupons and discounts.

Buying 4 packs with only the Wags coupon, two printable $2 coupons and the coupon in the insert would cost: $22.96 ($5.74 per pack).

You can also use this for Pull-Ups (there have been various coupons available for them.)

Then submit the receipts for a Caregivers Marketplace rebate of $0.75 per pack to make the total cost on 4 packs $19.96 ($4.99 each).

I'm not feeling well and have a lot of work left on re-organizing my coupons (will show you soon!) so I'm going to cheat a bit and just link you to Southern Savers for the CVS and Walgreens deals this week!

Walgreens Nov. 1-7

Just a quick clarification...other sites will tell you every coupon in their folders and online that you can use on these ads. I’m writing this as if you have no coupons at all and you just pick up the Sunday paper wanting to make deals to get started. There are more coupons out there, of course, but I don’t want you to think that you can’t start with just one day’s paper. You don’t have to have a stockpile of coupons. Sure, it helps, but you can still make good deals with what you get this weekend.

Walgreens Matches 10/25-31

Match ups are based on coupons that "should" be in the paper this weekend. Remember, not all areas get the same inserts so the coupons may be different values or may not be there at all. This is based off the master list of what “should” be there.

I will also include in-store coupon booklets! These are generally store coupons that you can use with a manufacturer coupon for extra savings.

This list assumes you have no stored coupons and no register rewards.

This also does not include any coupons you can find and print online. Don’t forget to check coupons.com, smartsource.com and redplum.com for coupons. You can also find coupons on HEB.com, CVS.com, and Walgreens.com. Coupons printed from the store sites do not have to be used at that store!

I suggest Southern Savers for finding the online coupons. She has a great list with links for both CVS and Walgreens. There are a lot more deals you can make with the online coupons.

By the way, I’m not advocating these as “good” deals, just matching coupons for you. You decide what a “good” deal is for you!

All Register Reward Deals are Limit 1, but that just means you can only do one per transaction! On RR, you cannot use the coupon to buy the same product. For example, you cannot use the RR from the Purell Sanitizer to buy another Purell Sanitizer. You will not get the rewards a second time. Use rewards from other products though and you can do it. (Use Purell to get Hershey’s. Use Hershey’s to get Trident.. Use Trident to get Purell....etc.)

Don’t forget...you cannot use more coupons than number of items at Walgreens. For example, you cannot use five coupons on less than 5 products. This includes the coupons you clip from the insert for sales prices. Sometimes you get lucky and the sale price is programmed into the computer...but only sometimes!
